Blackberri

As noted in the Timeline for 1979, NCBG, as the organzation was known at the time, hosted the National Conference of 3rd World Lesbians and Gays. The event, attended by more than 500 individuals from the US and other countries, was held at Harambee House, on Georgia Avenue in Washington DC, next to the campus of Howard University. The event was one of many conducted during the first National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. Among many of the talents featured at the Conference, NCBG was fortunate to engage Blackberri. Here he is singing one of his original classics, Eat the Rich.
