NCBLG: The First Decade, a 1988 Video; Now on the Home Page of Birthright

In 1988, Rev. Renee McCoy, then Executive Director of NCBLG, produced a 14 minute video entitled "NCBLG: The First Decade."  The script for the video was written and narrated by Michelle Parkerson, with additional narration provided by Gideon Ferebee and Renee McCoy. The video is now featured on the home page of the Birthright web-site. Birthright: The NCBLG Founders' Legacy Projects (Birthright), has as its mission to recapture and share the histories and the stories of Black LGBT people in order to strengthen and inform broader movements for social justice and change.  NCBLG Founders established Birthright at special retreat in the summer of 2010.
